			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Déclaration de la candidate Edith Kahbang Walla</strong></p>
<p>Au lendemain de l’élection présidentielle du 9 octobre 2011, le Cameroon People’s Party remercie les millions d’électrices/eurs, les milliers de militant/es, sympathisant/es, scrutatrices/eurs et volontaires qui partagent notre vision du Cameroun Leader et qui se sont engagés pour réaliser cette vision pour notre nation.<br />
Le 9 octobre nous avons passé une étape importante pour la réalisation de cette vision, nous maintenons le cap sur Le Cameroun Leader et demandons à tous ceux et celles qui se sont engagé/es de se préparer pour les prochaines étapes. Nous demandons à tous les Camerounais/es qui ne sont pas encore impliqué/es dans l’action politique pour l’alternance du système de gouvernance camerounais à partir du plus haut niveau de se joindre à nous.<br />
Le CPP a réalisé des performances importantes pendant cette élection, notamment :<br />
• Des résultats obtenus, qui se classent parmi les meilleurs sur l’ensemble des régions du Cameroun et dans la Diaspora<br />
• Une mobilisation extraordinaire des volontaires pour assurer la présence du CPP sur l’ensemble du triangle national<br />
•Une efficacité et une innovation hors pair dans la conduite de la campagne<br />
Cependant, le degré des irrégularités et de fraudes vécues pendant l’élection amène le CPP à demander l’annulation du scrutin dans l’intérêt de la démocratie camerounaise.<br />
De fait, l’élection qui s’est déroulée le 9 octobre est une honte pour le Cameroun tout entier. Nous avons étalé notre incompétence en matière de gestion d’un processus électoral au monde entier. Cette élection est loin de se conformer aux normes africaines, n’en parlons pas des normes internationales. Pourquoi le régime actuel fait-il toujours des choix qui place le Cameroun parmi les médiocres ?<br />
Ceux et celles qui ont fraudé ont manqué de respect pour nous citoyens/nes Camerounais et pour notre patrie. Ceux et celles qui ont posé des actes criminels en introduisant la violence, le meurtre et la haine ethnique ont effectivement mis la sécurité et la paix de notre pays en danger.<br />
Le CPP demande aux camerounais/es de se mobiliser pour reprendre notre pays en main. Notre formation politique a mené les actions suivantes à la suite du 9 octobre :<br />
•Le 12 octobre un recours de demande en annulation à été déposé à la Cour Suprême siégeant en tant que Conseil Constitutionnel<br />
•Une action commune avec les autres partis politiques et acteurs de la société civile est en cours portant sur :<br />
oL’annulation du scrutin du 9 octobre<br />
oLa réforme immédiate du système électoral<br />
oLa mise en place d’un cadre de concertation entre le gouvernement, les partis politiques et ELECAM afin de définir un calendrier et des modalités claires pour la réforme du système électoral et la programmation de nouvelles élections.<br />
Enfin, nous nous attèlerons au renforcement de la mobilisation et structuration du CPP afin d’intégrer tous les nouveaux membres, de renforcer les capacités des membres existants et assurer l’excellente préparation de notre formation politique pour toutes les actions futures à mener.</p>
<p>Le déroulement de cette élection souligne l’importance pour l’ensemble des camerounais et camerounaises qui souhaitent voir un changement à la tête de notre nation, de se mobiliser, s’organiser et d’agir. Le grand gagnant de cette élection est l’immobilisme et la non-participation. L’une des conclusions les plus importantes à tirer de cette élection est le fait que l’immobilisme et l’inaction sont les meilleures complices du régime actuel. Le destin du Cameroun est entre nos mains, c’est l’action stratégique et structurée de la majorité des camerounais/es qui nous permettra de reprendre ce destin en main. Le pouvoir est en nous.</p>

Chaque peuple, chaque nation, a son périple. Nous, camerounais avons parfois le sentiment que le nôtre n&#8217;a pas de fin. En tant que peuple, nous avons lutté contre l&#8217;oppression pendant plus de 90 ans. Plusieurs fois nous avons eu des rendez-vous avec l&#8217;histoire et à chaque fois nous en sommes ressortis insatisfaits, frustrés, nous demandant si notre liberté ne viendrait jamais &#8230;</p>
<p>Le 1er Rendez-Vous<br />
Lock Priso et Douala Manga Bell furent les précurseurs, menant des luttes contre la domination allemande dès le début du 20ième siècle. Le 22 juillet 1931, les femmes commerçantes de Douala décident que ça suffit, elles marchent sur le bureau du gouverneur français pour protester contre les taxes exorbitantes. De là jusqu’au début des années soixante, les nationalistes se battent des deux côtés du Mungo pour mettre fin à l&#8217;oppression des colonisateurs. Ndeh Ntumazah, Um Nyobe, Emmanuel Endeley, Marthe Moumié, Augustine Ngom Jua, Gertrude Omog, les femmes Anlu de Kom, etc. sont tous des noms dont l&#8217;histoire reste à écrire afin que nos enfants puissent eux aussi construire leur avenir en s&#8217;appuyant sur la fondation de vraies héroïnes et héros pour faire face aux challenges de la vie. Trente ans de lutte de libération. Les nationalistes sont vainqueurs car ils construisent une vraie vision de l&#8217;indépendance, ils déclenchent un mouvement de libération à travers l&#8217;Afrique et, surtout, ils nous laissent un merveilleux héritage de fierté, la soif inextinguible d’une véritable indépendance. Mais ils perdent, nous perdons car ils ne dirigeront pas notre pays. Ils seront tués. Décapités. Et avec eux, notre première tentative de nous définir par et pour nous-mêmes. C’est notre premier rendez-vous avec l&#8217;histoire et nous en repartons la gorge nouée du goût amer de la défaite. C’est le point départ de la construction d’une fondation confuse, corrompue et douteuse qui est celle du Cameroun aujourd&#8217;hui.</p>
<p>Le 2ième Rendez-Vous<br />
1989 et nous sommes de nouveau agités. Corruption, incompétence, oppression continue ont complètement anéanti tous les espoirs que nous nous sommes permis en 1982 croyant assister à la fin de la dictature. Les voix se lèvent à Garoua, Bertoua, Ebolowa, Bafoussam, Buéa, Douala, Yaoundé et au quartier de Ntarikon. Yondo Black, Vincent Feko, Henriette Ekwe, Albert Mukong, Ni John Fru Ndi et bien d&#8217;autres font eux aussi partie de cette histoire qui reste à écrire. L’espoir renaît une fois de plus. Le raz-de-marée venu de Bamenda prend de l’ampleur et se propage dans l’ensemble du pays. Du sang sera versé, des vies volées, des villes mortes feront partie de notre quotidien et les cartons rouges nous informerons que la nation est en guerre contre l’oppression. C’est le 11 Octobre 1992, nous sommes certains que nous avons enfin atteint l&#8217;indépendance pour laquelle nous nous battons depuis près d&#8217;un siècle. Les bulletins sont mis dans les urnes, le comptage initial est merveilleux. La liberté enfin ! Les résultats ne demandent qu&#8217;à être proclamés. Une fois de plus nous avons gagné car la nation s’est exprimée massivement sur le choix de son destin. Nous aurions désormais multiples partis politiques, maillons essentiel de la démocratie. Mais quand le résultat final est prononcé la victoire nous est refusée. La liberté totale, l’indépendance complète ne sera pas pour cette fois-ci non plus.<br />
20 ans plus tard et il semble que nous ayons perdu non seulement notre chemin, mais aussi que nous ayons perdu notre volonté. Au moment où nous semblons nous résigner à ce qu&#8217;on nous dit être notre destin, vint Février 2008. Notre rage surgit. L&#8217;injustice de la vie dans un pays qui est riche, mais où 40% de ses citoyens vivent avec moins de 738 fcfa par jour. La vie inimaginable dans un pays où près de 500 personnes peuvent mourir du choléra parce que moins de 30% de sa population rurale a accès à l&#8217;eau potable et seulement 14% de cette même population a accès à des toilettes décentes. Quel scandale ! Dans ce même pays, le chef de l&#8217;Etat, dont le travail consiste à s&#8217;assurer que les citoyens ont de l&#8217;eau potable et des toilettes adéquates, se permet d’aller en vacances pour dépenser plus de € 1,000,000 en moins d&#8217;un mois. Echec sur échec, scandale sur scandale et nous nous rappelons que nous valons mieux que ça, que nous avons un potentiel extraordinaire qui attend d&#8217;être atteint. Cette combinaison de scandales et de ressources, d&#8217;échecs et de potentiels ; cette combinaison tourbillonne le sang de nos ancêtres qui est en nous.<br />
Nous nous rappelons que nous sommes les enfants de combattants et combattantes de la liberté. Nous sommes les descendants des nationalistes qui ont combattu des ennemis plus redoutables que celui qui est en face de nous. Nous sommes d&#8217;une lignée de héros et d’héroïnes qui n&#8217;ont jamais céder face à la tyrannie et l&#8217;oppression.<br />
La seule et unique raison de tout leur être, de leur combat, l’accomplissement de leur destin, c&#8217;est nous.<br />
Pour nous, pour cette génération qui est la nôtre, il est l’heure…</p>
<p>Le 3ième et Décisif Rendez-Vous<br />
2011 est notre prochain rendez-vous avec l&#8217;histoire. Nous le savons. C’est le tour de notre génération ; il est l’heure pour nous. Porter ce combat, nous le devons. Réaliser cette révolution pacifique, nous le devons. Nous nous le devons, nous le devons à nos ancêtres et nous le devons à nos enfants.<br />
Il est l’heure! La seule question que chacun de nous doit se poser est &#8220;Quel est mon rôle?&#8221;, &#8220;Quelle est ma tâche?&#8221; Alors que nous nous avançons vers cette 3ième rencontre décisive, certaines choses clés doivent être faites:<br />
• Reprenons notre pouvoir &#8211; Nous devons inverser la structure du pouvoir au Cameroun. C&#8217;est notre pays. Ce sont nos droits. Nous ne pouvons continuer à permettre que notre pouvoir collectif soit usurpé par une petite minorité.<br />
• Reprenons en main nos élections &#8211; Nous ne devons pas permettre la confiscation des élections par un individu ou un petit groupe de personnes. Le système électoral nous appartient. C’est notre possession fondamentale en tant que citoyens. Par conséquence,<br />
o Prenons possession de notre droit – Inscrivons nous sur la liste électorale<br />
o Organisons nous &#8211; Rejoignez un groupe qui lutte pour la réforme électorale<br />
o Faisons entendre notre voix &#8211; Allez à ELECAM, posez des questions, exigez des réponses, participez.<br />
o Mobilisons nous – Par l’action non-violente, mais déterminée, en tant que peuple, nous sommes à mesure de nous assurer de la transparence et de l’équité dans ce système électoral<br />
2011 est notre rendez-vous avec l&#8217;histoire. Il est l’heure, notre heure, l’heure du peuple. Abolissons la peur, levons-nous, agissons, ensemble nous allons oser inventer l&#8217;avenir de notre cher Cameroun.</p>

<p><em>La nation camerounaise se trouve à un tournant historique. A peine les cinquantenaires célébrés, nous entrons de plein pied dans une élection présidentielle qui se tient dans un contexte particulier.</em></p>
<p><em>Sur le plan national, des signes de frustrations, d’insatisfaction et de souffrance sont partout manifestes ; et nous prédisent qu’à n’importe quel moment, une crise sociale et/ou politique peut survenir. </em></p>
<p><em>Sur le plan international, le monde est en ébullition. Les régimes réputés puissants s’effondrent sous la pression populaire. Les peuples reprennent leur destin en main ; et à travers leurs expériences, une vérité évidente s’impose à tous : lorsque les peuples se lèvent, les choses changent !</em></p>
<p><em> </em></p>
<p><strong><em>Forces de l’ordre, forces de défense !</em></strong></p>
<p><em>Le peuple Camerounais n’est pas insensible à ces exemples éclatants. Ces exemples lui parlent, et l’interpellent. Nous voyons chaque jour, les Camerounais/es gagné/es par une aspiration nette et profonde à de meilleures conditions de vie, à plus de liberté, à un changement concret et immédiat.</em></p>
<p><em>Nous les voyons envier ceux qui ont osé mettre fin à un système inique, inefficace et méprisant.</em></p>
<p><em>Nous les voyons chaque jour se convaincre de l’imminence du changement au Cameroun.</em></p>
<p><em>Nous les voyons se persuader qu’il est l’heure d’oser inventer son avenir.</em></p>
<p><em> </em></p>
<p><strong><em>Forces de l’ordre, forces de défense !</em></strong></p>
<p><em>Les enjeux de la période actuelle sont immenses. Ils nous commandent à tous et à toutes, en tant que Camerounais/es, de prendre toute leur mesure et de faire preuve de courage et de considération.</em></p>
<p><em>Il est l’heure de mettre en place une nouvelle conception du pouvoir qui consacre la souveraineté du peuple.</em></p>
<p><em>Il est l’heure d’assurer que les richesses de notre pays garantissent l’épanouissement de tous/toutes les Camerounais/es.</em></p>
<p><em>Il est l’heure de garantir aux jeunes, aux femmes, aux personnes handicapées… l’avenir qu’ils méritent !</em></p>

<p><strong><em>Forces de l’ordre, forces de défense !</em></strong></p>
<p><em>A l’instar de nombreux camerounais/es, vous êtes, vous aussi, avides de changement. Vous souhaitez que vos soldes soient revalorisées, votre statut amélioré, la gestion des carrières plus objective et le traitement entre les différents corps plus équitable,…</em></p>
<p><em>C’est à ce titre que vous aussi, autant que les autres Camerounais/es, êtes concernés par ce changement.</em></p>
<p><em>C’est dans cet ordre que vous devez pleinement assumer vos responsabilités à cette heure décisive.</em></p>

<p><em>Le 09 Octobre 2011, comme l’immense majorité des Camerounais/es, faites le choix clair de l’espoir, de la refondation de notre pays et de la prospérité collective.</em></p>
<p><em>En tant que gardiens de l’ordre, de la paix et de la sécurité, je vous exhorte à veiller au strict respect de l’intégrité du processus électoral et empêcher toute forme d’intimidations vis-à-vis des populations. Soyez  des forces qui rassurent et non des forces qui font peur. C’est votre responsabilité. C’est aussi en cela que consiste le maintien de l’ordre républicain.</em></p>

<p><em>Vous avez juré honneur et fidélité à la nation. A ce titre, vous devez défendre la vérité des urnes.</em></p>
<p><em>Rappelez-vous que, vous êtes au service d’une nation et non d’individus.</em></p>
<p><em>Vous êtes au service d’un peuple et non d’un groupe de personnes.</em></p>
<p><em>Vous êtes au service de la République et non d’un parti.</em></p>
<p><em>Il est l’heure d’assumer vos responsabilités aux côtés du peuple. L’heure d’être une force juste. Une force au service du peuple, fidèle aux idéaux fondateurs de la nation. Vous devez être cette force ! Telle est votre responsabilité !</em></p>
<p><em>Ne manquez pas le rendez-vous de l’histoire ! Ne manquez pas de fidélité vis-à-vis de la nation ! Ne décevez pas vos fils, vos filles, vos pères, vos mères, vos concitoyens !</em></p>

<p>Kah Walla: “The Time is Now”</p>

<p>In a video taken in February this year, Kah Walla, wearing jeans and a<br />
red t-shirt, stood facing the water cannon, her body leaning forward,<br />
both fists raised high in the air. High-powered blasts of<br />
chemical-tinged water wash over her and cloud the screen. Soon after,<br />
the police beat her and her companions with clubs.</p>
<p>That day, she was one of an estimated 300 protesters who had gathered<br />
in downtown Douala to peacefully demonstrate for democracy.</p>
<p>Today, she is a candidate in Cameroon’s October 9th presidential<br />
elections, running under the slogan “The Time is Now.” Like February’s<br />
tear gas incident, a recent day-long abduction by two men who<br />
identified themselves as policement also failed to intimidate her.</p>
<p>She’s wildly popular according to polls, but a corrupt electoral<br />
system will likely keep her out of power.<br />
“Actually, she joked to me that now she knows she has a chance at<br />
winning,” said Alyse Nelson, President and CEO of Vital Voices. “To<br />
her, getting kidnapped is a sign that the party in power is taking her<br />
candidacy seriously.”</p>
<p>Walla, now 46, attended Howard University before she returned to<br />
Cameroon to launch STRATEGIES!, a successful consulting firm. She is a<br />
member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum and has been honored by the<br />
World Bank, Vital Voices and Newsweek for her development work,<br />
business expertise and leadership.</p>
<p>She also founded the civil society group Cameroon Ô’Bosso, which<br />
campaigns for electoral reform. In one of her signature initiatives,<br />
she worked with Vital Voices to train over 500 women traders at<br />
Sandaga, one of Douala’s largest produce markets in business<br />
registration, tax procedures and space management. Today, the Sandaga<br />
Market Women Traders Union boasts over 200 members and is actively<br />
working to improve conditions at the market for women and men.</p>
<p>Her commitment to grassroots community engagement defines her<br />
leadership style, said Nelson, who interviewed Walla for a forthcoming<br />
book about women and leadership.</p>
<p>“It’s very easy to have a vision and speak from podium about that<br />
vision,” said Nelson. “But for Kah, an effective leader is someone who<br />
goes down into the community, sits with people and understands their<br />
challenges, and listens. She worked at the grassroots of society with<br />
these market women, and she will carry their voices with her as she<br />
goes to run for president.”</p>
<p>In a sign of her ability to inspire, since she announced her candidacy<br />
last October, (the first time a woman has run for president in<br />
Cameroon’s 51-year history), three more women have announced theirs,<br />
said Nelson, a huge step forward in a country that the World Economic<br />
Forum ranks 114th out of 134 in its 2010 Gender Gap Index.</p>
<p>Her anything-is-possible attitude, she added, comes from a “deep<br />
internal compass” that guides her vision of an inclusive, democratic<br />
Cameroon.</p>
<p>“She has a deep commitment to a core set of values, and it’s so deep<br />
that no matter what comes along – intimidation, adversity, or even<br />
success, she is not swayed from that core vision,” said Nelson.</p>
<p>The invincibility of her spirit emerged in a letter written just after<br />
her run-in with the police in February. With her eyes still burning<br />
from the chemicals, and the welts on her back still stinging, she sent<br />
out an email describing the day’s events: “Note my two fists up in a<br />
victory symbol under the water cannon. That’s the lesson I learnt. The<br />
power is within us. No amount of violence and hysteria can remove it.”</p>
<p>It’s not just the lesson she learned, Nelson says, but one that she<br />
can teach us.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A Cameroon, united in its diversity</span></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">The word diversity could have been invented to describe Cameroon. Cameroon boasts of a plethora of ethnic groups, is home to two of Africa’s great indigenous peoples (the Mbororos and the Bakas), and has a colonial history which left us with two of the most widely spoken languages in the world.  Today the Cameroonian Diaspora is represented in all four corners of the globe. This diversity should be a formidable asset for Cameroon. Unfortunately, from independence to this day, we have witnessed politicians exploit this diversity as a tool to divide us, to weaken us and as regards our indigenous peoples, to ensure the progressive disappearance of cultural values and scientific knowledge that are not only part of our heritage, but part of the heritage of the world.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><em>The time is now to dare</em></strong>.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to build a bright future.  Drawing from the plurality of our traditions which, when examined closely, comprise the pillars of democracy such as social dialogue, impartial justice, the separation of powers, the structuring of the state, decentralization and much more. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to build a future by making the most of our painful colonial history, by recognizing both parts of Cameroon that opted to come together as equal entities, by acknowledging that the unification process so far has suffered many mishaps which have been detrimental to many, by coming together to define the parameters of a strategy that will enable us lay the foundation of unity that is so solid it will transform this unfortunate stumbling block in our history into a firm stepping stone for economic and diplomatic progress.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to embrace the incredible wealth in scientific knowledge and the mastery of practices for sustainable environmental management and cultural values, stored by our two indigenous peoples; to preserve and communicate this invaluable wealth as part of our national heritage. Dare to define new methods of integration which respect the dignity and honor of all Cameroonian peoples.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to re-define the concept of nationality, so that Cameroonians who adopt a second nationality may keep their first if they so wish. Dare to harness all our human resources around the world, regardless of their countries of adoption, enabling them to contribute in forging the new Cameroon we so strongly desire.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Unity in diversity is one of the key principles on which we intend to dare to invent the future of a new Cameroon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">A Cameroon for and with Cameroonians</span></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Since the colonial era, power has been detained by a privileged few who believe they can do and undo. Convinced they have no obligation to engage in dialogue, they feel they owe nothing to the Cameroonian people whom they treat with the utmost disdain. Convinced they are not answerable to anyone, all national resources belong to them and only they decide on how many crumbs trickle down to the majority. They are convinced they have no duty to produce results for anyone except themselves and their extended families: The power of the elite. Yesterday, this elite was the colonizer.  Today and for the past fifty years this elite is made up of a few Cameroonians who believe they can do anything, anywhere at any time and at the expense of the vast majority of their fellow citizens.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><em>Now is the time to dare.</em></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to create a new definition of power which will compel those in public office to govern with the people and for the people, through constant consultation, concertation and dialogue.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to institute systems which guarantee that power alternates so no one can lead the entire country based on his/her whims and caprices and stay in power forever.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to streamline power so that ultimate power remains in the hands of the people and no one elected by the people to govern for a specified period of time, forgets this. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to impose checks and balances to keep those in public office on track, a mechanism that will ensure that the voice of the people is heard and its demands are permanently taken into consideration. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">The time is now to dare to put in place a state which is indeed at the service of the people. A state that measures its successes and results achieved in terms of the welfare of Cameroonians.  A state which is responsive to the political, social and economic concerns of its people.  A state which considers that each Cameroonian citizen is entitled to the best quality of services possible.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">An equitable Cameroon</span></strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">We have allowed our society to be polluted by «- isms ».  Tribalism, sexism, ageism, etc are the order of the day. Over the past fifty years, we have used every possible criterion to discriminate against one another, to bar the success of one another, and to hinder the growth of talents and any attempts to achieve excellence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><em>Now is the time to dare</em></strong>.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to acknowledge that while our ethnic identity is an asset to every individual and to the entire nation, it cannot be a criterion for employment, admission, progress or rejection in any process whatsoever.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to analyze the issue of gender discrimination underlying our religious, traditional and philosophical beliefs and accept that no nation can aspire to grow without 50% of its resources, that no freedom can be considered effective if it is denied to half of the population, and that no justice is done to one if it is not rendered to all.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to accept that the respect for age as enshrined in our traditions, does not allow us to use this as a criterion to exclude youths, deny them access to resources, deprive them from jobs and freedom of speech, and alienate them from the right to sit among the leaders of the nation. </span></p>

Despite this wealth, we have failed miserably in our economic performance; we have created chaotic social services and developed a sham of democracy. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;"><strong><em>The time is now to dare to attain excellence</em></strong>.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">We must dare to analyze the best political, economic and social practices around the world and dare to develop our own performances in order to rank among the best. Dare to compare ourselves only with those who excel and never with the mediocre. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: 'Arial Narrow'; font-size: small;">Dare to create, invent and deliver the best quality services that ensure the greatest well-being for Cameroonians.</span></p>

<p dir="ltr">La situation actuelle dans laquelle se trouve le Cameroun laisse entrevoir certains groupes de personnes dont les besoins ne sont pas pris en compte et dont les droits sont quotidiennement bafoués. Ces laissés pour compte sont les femmes, les jeunes, les handicapés et les personnes du troisième âge.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Les femmes sont la force vive de la nation. Elles jouent un rôle important dans l’économie camerounaise, dans la stabilité de la famille, dans l’éducation des enfants et leurs fortes capacités à diriger des entreprises et des institutions n’est plus à démontrer. En vertu de tout ce potentiel, la femme ne doit plus rester dans l’ombre de l’homme. Elle doit faire l’objet d’un réajustement social qui lui donne primeur, consacre et récompense à juste valeur  ses qualités et son apport.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Les jeunes sont la catégorie la plus importante de la population camerounaise. Leur nombre et leur importance leur confèrent un statut de premier choix au sein de la société. Ils doivent être au centre de toutes les politiques. Ils doivent être intégrés dans tous les échelons de la prise de décision. Particulièrement, en ce qui concerne l’élaboration des politiques de jeunesse, la définition et la mise en œuvre de stratégies de développement national. Il est donc question de construire une société camerounaise où les jeunes se sentent valorisés, où ils sont mis en confiance et où ils sont responsabilisés. Les jeunes doivent faire l’objet d’un véritablement encadrement de la part des pouvoirs publics et des autres organismes non gouvernementaux spécialisés.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Les personnes du troisième constituent cette frange de la population de notre pays qui a le mérite d’avoir bravé toutes les épreuves de la vie jusqu’à la vieillesse. Elles ont ainsi accumulé des expériences et des connaissances qui représentent une ressource incontournable pour les jeunes générations et la société toute entière.</p>
<p>Faire des personnes handicapées qui constituent environ 10% de la population camerounaise des citoyens à part entière, autant intégrées dans la société camerounaise que les autres membres de la nation camerounaise. Intégrer de manière systématique la question spécifique des handicapées dans l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre des politiques publiques. Mettre en place des systèmes qui permettent de capitaliser sur les talents et les ressources particulières de ces catégories pour construire un Cameroun fort et prospère.<br />
Telle est la politique ambitieuse que nous comptons mettre en œuvre à l’attention de ces personnes prioritaires dont la prise en charge et l’accompagnement participe de la réalisation du projet « Le Cameroun Leader »<br />

Nous sommes conscients de  l’inégalité naturelle de la création humaine. La qualité et le niveau de vie  des populations du nord au sud et de l’est à l’ouest ne sont guère les mêmes du point de vue du milieu géographique et des richesses biologiques. Ces particularités et divergences se répercutent sur le champ économique et social des sociétés qui y vivent.  Notre projet politique est de rétablir par le droit et au nom du sentiment commun d’appartenance à la même nation cette égalité au niveau social. Il s’agit de donner à tous les mêmes chances de réussite sociale et de bien-être.<br />
Nous comptons élaborer une politique de solidarité nationale qui élimine les fractures et ségrégations sociales, assure un bien-être à tous et consolide l’harmonie et la paix dans notre société.</p>
